Activating Your Archive

Seminar

This evening seminar is about dealing with one's own or an appropriated collection of images.

For this purpose, various strategies will be examined on the basis of outstanding examples from the history of art and photography. Using your own and other people's photographic material, adequate forms of archive activation will be playfully sought and discussed in the group.

The 6-week seminar will help you to find important criteria for your source image selection, to place your work in the context of current photographic practices, and to explore different forms of presentation.

The fee for the seminar is EUR 580,00.
